Actions > Research and field studies regarding large carnivores

The LIFE Nature Project studies the interaction between wildlife and human activities, to elaborate and implement the management plans for wolf, bear and lynx in Piatra Craiului National Park.

Through direct observations, radio-telemetry and snow tracking can be found out the wildlife green corridors between Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Massifs. The GIS maps regarding the green corridors are integrated in the The Piatra Craiului National Park Administration Strategy as well as in the local administrative plans. [photo 1]  [photo 2]
